The redesigned Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Heat-Tolerant Blue® Mix for Tall Fescue Lawns is engineered to resist extreme heat. Its Root-Building Nutrition formula, a carefully crafted combination of ingredients, helps establish deep roots to grow thick, green turf, enabling you to build a stronger and healthier lawn from the ground up.
Designed for both full sun and partial shade areas, this grass seed mix offers medium to high drought resistance and durability. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing one, with best results when applied during the spring or fall seasons when average soil temperatures consistently range between 60°F and 75°F or air temperatures are between 65°F and 85°F.
For optimal application, we recommend using a Scotts® spreader and following the settings provided on the product label. Ensure consistent soil moisture by watering daily or as needed until the seedlings reach a minimum height of 2 inches.
A single 16 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Heat-Tolerant Blue® Mix for Tall Fescue Lawns can cover up to 1,330 sq. ft. for new lawn seeding or 4,000 sq. ft. for overseeding an existing lawn.
