The redesigned Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Perennial Ryegrass Mix establishes quickly, thanks to its specially crafted Root-Building Nutrition formula. This unique blend of ingredients is expertly formulated to help create deep, robust roots, enabling the growth of a thick, lush, green lawn from the ground up.
Designed for use in full sun and light shade conditions, this grass seed mix exhibits low drought resistance but moderate durability. It can be utilized to establish a new lawn or to overseed an existing one.
For optimal results, apply the Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Perennial Ryegrass Mix during the spring or fall seasons, when the average daily soil temperature ranges between 55°F and 70°F, or when the air temperature falls between 60°F and 80°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to ensure even application, as per the settings provided on the product label.
After application, water the area daily or as needed to maintain a moist soil surface until the seedlings reach a minimum height of 2 inches.
One 5.6 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Perennial Ryegrass Mix provides coverage for up to 700 sq. ft. of new lawn or 2,100 sq. ft. of overseeding.
