Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action is a 3-in-1 formula designed for Southern grass types. It offers a comprehensive solution by killing listed weeds, preventing and eliminating fire ants, and fertilizing the lawn to help it withstand Southern stresses like heat and drought.
This multi-purpose product effectively controls a range of problematic weeds, including dandelion, dollarweed, clover, oxalis, plantain, chickweed, and henbit. Additionally, it prevents and kills fire ants for up to 6 months, while also providing protection against other lawn pests, such as armyworms, fleas, mole crickets, chinch bugs, sod webworms, and ticks.
Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action is specifically formulated for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. For optimal results, apply the product when weeds are actively growing. It is recommended to use a Scotts® spreader to ensure even distribution, with a setting of 4 ¼ for Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders and 8 ½ for Scotts® drop spreaders.
After application, the product must be watered in immediately, and people and pets should be kept off the treated area until the watering-in is complete and the surface is dry. One 26.64 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action can cover up to 8,000 sq. ft. of lawn.
