Scotts® MossEx™: The Moss Eliminator for a Lush, Green Lawn
Scotts® MossEx™ is designed to control unwanted moss without causing any harm to your lawn. After applying MossEx™, it targets and attacks the undesirable moss, leading to its blackening and eventual disappearance. Additionally, the product contains nutrients that help green your lawn and promote the growth of thick, healthy grass.
The optimal time to apply Scotts® MossEx™ is during the winter or spring months, when moss is in its active growth phase. For best results, apply the product when the lawn is moist, and ensure that any tall grass has been mowed to expose the low-growing moss.
To apply Scotts® MossEx™, we recommend using a Scotts® spreader. For Scotts® rotary/broadcast spreaders, use a setting of 2 ¼ for the regular rate or 2 ¾ for the heavy rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 4 for the regular rate or 4 ½ for the heavy rate. If using the Scotts® Wizz®, set it to 3 ¼ for the regular rate and 3 ¾ for the heavy rate.
It's important to note that, during the treatment process, the grass blades may temporarily turn black. However, this condition will disappear after mowing. If additional treatments are needed, wait 2 to 4 weeks between applications.
